Where should we stay?

There are a number of very cute hotels in the downtown Davis area, as well as in neighboring Woodland, CA. Here are some of our favorites (about 15 mins drive from wedding location):

• The Aggie Inn, basically on the UC Davis campus and across from Delta of Venus (cute hippy coffee shop/hangout spot).

• The Best Western in downtown Davis, very walkable to restaurants and campus and across the street from the Farmer’s Market on Saturday.

• The Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Davis, recently renovated and close to some great restaurants and shops.

Is there parking at the venue?

Lyft and Uber are both very easy ways to get to and from the wedding location, but if you’d like to drive, there is parking at the venue. Cars can be left overnight at the venue if needed And picked up anytime on Sunday. Let’s party responsibly ✨

What should I wear?

Attire is SEMI-FORMAL. Think cocktail/garden party. We’ll be outside for the entire event and temperatures will be in the high 80’s in the afternoon, low 70’s when the sun goes down. We’ll be on a grass lawn all evening, plan footwear accordingly.

Where are you registered?

Thank you so much for asking! We are registered via Zola, which makes contributing to our honeymoon fund and/or ordering items online super easy. Seriously, thank you so much for your generosity. We love you.

Is the wedding outside?

It sure is! We’ll be in the great outdoors all night. The weather should be mild, but it might be pretty warm in the afternoon. Plan on bringing a light jacket for the evening. Anyone who has ever spent time in Davis can tell you the late spring/summer nights are glorious.

Is it cool for me to bring my kid(s) to the wedding?

We love your kiddos and they are welcome to party along with us as long as you or your loved one can keep an eye on them throughout the event (there won’t be supervision, and there will be a bar). Like all the adults at this shindig, let’s party safely and responsibly. When you RSVP, be sure to let us know how many little ones will be tagging along for the event.

Is the venue kid-friendly?

Yes! However, the ceremony and reception will take place in an outdoor garden area directly off a FAIRLY BUSY country road where cars will pass by. No guests will be allowed inside the house or other structures on the property. There will be no supervision provided for kids, so IF YOU BRING THEM, PLEASE KEEP an eye on THEM at all times, no exceptions. Thank you!

I’ve never been to a same sex wedding before, how should I act?

JK we know you wouldn’t ask that. But in case you’re wondering, you should be your respectful, loving self like you would at any other wedding. There will be a ceremony, drinks, dinner, dancing, cake, and a lot of love.

I can’t come to the wedding and I’m super bummed. What should I do?

Please have a good glass of wine or a strong whiskey drink in our honor wherever you are the night of our wedding. You will be missed!

But who will feed Cleo?

Honestly, we don’t know. If you know somebody in Oakland who could do us a solid and feed Cleo, please let us know. Our fur baby would be so appreciative!
